I'll never do that again...

So yesterday it was SO beautiful outside.  Mom and Dad and Sam came to visit, and I had so much fun hanging out with them!  We went to Cheesecake factory and had some AMAZING food.  I then went with Alli because it was such a beautiful day that both of us decided we just couldn't stay in doors.  Later that evening it was Alli's roommates boyfriends birthday and he wanted to have his dinner at Rodizio.  I'd never heard of them and I kept hearing it was really good, and that it gave Tacano's a run for their money.  Well I'd never had either so I was kind of pumped to go eat at this authentic Brazilian restaurant.  I get there and JUST a salad bar is $16, if you add the meat it's $25!  I knew I wasn't in love with the salad bar because I kind of saw what was over there, so I decided to go with the meat as well.  It was pretty cool, they brought the meat one at a time out on swords and would cut a piece off for you to eat, they had every thing from glazed ham to chicken hearts, and even grilled pineapple.  Oh and I also ordered a passionfruit lemonade that I figured because of the price of the meal the drink would be bottomless, NOPE, that bad boy cost me $5!  So my biggest issue besides the price was the food wasn't that good, neither was the service for the price!  Alli and I both left saying we'd never go there again and it's true.  Seriously we asked for more water and we had to keep reminding the waitress to get us more water, and we also asked for the guy that plays the drums to come in and sing happy birthday, TWICE we asked them and they never came.  So the service was horrible and it is totally a break the bank restaurant.  I'll never do that again.

Sometimes I wish people would lay in the middle of the road and count mufflers!

   This morning on my way to work when I was driving behind a blue BMW.   We "were" going the speed limit, but when the lane two lanes over started slowing down because of traffic issues the BMW in front of me decided to slow down right along with them.  I normally wouldn't have an issue but this idiot didn't have a single car in front of them!!!  We were going about 70 and slowed down to about 50... UGH!!!  I wish common sense was a lot more common than it is!

Dear motivation... Please come back to me... I miss you!

K, so last saturday I decided it had been long enough from the last time I went and got my hair done so I went and drove around Salt Lake City looking for a hair salon.  All while I was looking for a new place of course!  (I was multi-tasking!) :-)  Anyhow I finally was driving in Cottonwood heights and found a salon kind of tucked in the back off a semi-major road.  I walked in and they told me to come back in a few hours.  So when I came back I told the lady what I wanted (I could see it in my head and it was AWESOME) and she looked scared.  I even told her she looked scared and she said she was!  All I wanted was Fire Engine Red chunks through out my hair and highlights.  It's not like I was asking for her to color my hair pink and black!  So she left and came back with some color, I was kind of afraid because I didn't get to pick out the color... I went ahead and let her put it in and once she styled it, I liked it, but when I got home to some better lighting I saw that my red was more of an orange red... I guess she took the "fire" a little more literal than I anticipated...  But I've learned to live with it.  I love the cut, it's gorgeous!  I love the highlights, it's exactly what I wanted, so I would totally go back to her, but I would have to pick out the red next time because it just wasn't red enough or through out my hair enough as I would have liked.

Now... as for my title this time around... I "enhanced" my picture today when I got home from running my errands and picking a place to live (finally) I ate some lunch, then came in my room to clean... but my computer begged my name... So I started photoshopping.  This is a HORRIBLE job but I like how it made my hair look!  lol I'm a dork I know, so now I am hoping that motivation comes to find me soon because I'm looking at my mess of a room wishing some little cleaning fairies would come clean it so I didn't have too...

Oh man...

So I decided I would jump on the blogging train.  My goal for 2010 is to be more pro-active and social.  LOL I didn't do a very good job of it last year...  I am hoping to have TONS to do this year, I'm trying to book something every weekend so that I can say that I did something this year, as opposed to last year where I did absolutely nothing but sit on my duff.  So far this year is looking up and it's only March.  Though it did start out something terrible.  I got in a car accident in January and had to get a new car.  I did have a 1995 VW Golf, and I upgraded to a 2000 VW Jetta (Turbo edition!!)  I had been unemployed for just over 6 months when my friend Alli got me an AMAZING job!  I now work for a company that handles Claims Management Services and I absolutely love it.  I'm truly grateful!  Now I'm just looking for another place to live.  Hopefully I can find a place soon!  Well I don't expect to write much every time... I get bored when I look at other peoples blogs and then notice they write novels every time... So I'm going to keep this short and sweet!
